Roller Chain, Links & Attachments

Roller chain and links are used with sprockets in machinery to transmit mechanical power. Chains consist of short, cylindrical rollers bound together by links, which are held in place by pins. A chain's pitch is the distance from one link to the next, measured from the pin's centerline. To determine which sprocket a chain is compatible with, the chain's pitch must first be determined. Roller chain consists of rollers and links bound together to form a chain. Gripper chain has side swivel gripper attachments on each chain link that create precise positioning and consistent clamping. It is used in form, fill, and vacuum seal applications.
