Discover a wide array of shaft couplings, chains and sprockets, belts and sheaves, and drive components.
Rigid shaft couplings connect two shafts and transfer power from one shaft to the other. They form rigid sleeves around shafts to securely hold them, eliminate backlash, and enable very precise alignment. Rigid shaft couplings come with or without flanges. Flanged couplings reduce strain and wear at the meeting point of shafts that carry heavy loads. Rigid shaft couplings also come in a variety of types including clamp-on and set screw. Clamp-on rigid shaft couplings allow a greater torque capacity, while set screw rigid shaft couplings use set screws in the shaft to increase the coupling's holding power.
