- The flared trough is manufactured in one piece construction with formed top flanges and jig welded end flanges that assist alignment with other sections.
- The flared trough is used primarily to convey material which is not free flowing, or which has a tendency to stick to the trough.
- They are also used where materials tend to bridge or when flared inlets are required.
- Can be constructed of a wide range of material on a MTO basis
