• SKF roller bearing units (mounted bearing units) are designed for applications where housed bearings are required to operate under difficult conditions and often outdoors and must provide reliable, long-term performance, be able to support heavy loads well and be easily replaceable should the need arise
• SKF roller bearing units offer the designer relative freedom in respect of bearing arrangement design
• Make for economic bearing arrangements and are primarily intended for applications where the load carrying capacity of Y-bearing units is inadequate or where conditions are particularly difficult
• Ready-to-mount—they have the correct clearance, are greased and sealed
• Can be used on commercial drawn shafts
• Easy to mount on the shaft and are firmly locked in position
• Protected against contamination in operation and during installation
• Prepared for online connection to condition monitoring equipment
• Allow logistics costs to be reduced as only one part has to be ordered, stored and managed
