- Removes, kills and converts rust to a rust preventative compound or rust inhibitor
- A rusted metal surface that has been properly treated with Chemprime and painted will not fail because of rust bleed through
- With Chemprime, paint or primer adhere much better because the zinc strontium phosphate film actually permits a locking effect at the paint interface with the steel rather than ordinary paint adhesion
