Used for welding corrosion resistant austenitic chromium-nitrogen stainless steels containing 23% molybdenum.
The molybdenum content of this electrode gives the weld deposit excellent corrosion resistance.
USA 316 electrodes produce weld deposits with smooth bead appearance and easy slag removability.
