Overview

• Blind tapped nuts, also called partially threaded nuts, have the last thread incomplete, which prevents the fastener from turning through the bottom of the nut
• Steel is strong and durable but less corrosion resistant than stainless steel
• To improve its resistance to corrosion, it may receive additional finishes and coatings
• T-slot nuts are T-shaped and designed to fit along a T-slot track on a workbench or machine table
• They are used to hold workpieces in place.
