Overview

• VN9400 is a precisely processed, specially formulated engineered thermoplastic resin. It’s high compressive strength and load bearing capabilities meet or exceed that of most metals used for wear rings.
• Long Wearing - The tough properties inherent in the exclusive VN9400 formulations allow for extremely low wear.
• Non-Scoring - Because VN9400 Wear Rings are non-metallic, they totally eliminate metal-to-metal contact and the consequent galling and scoring of cylinder bores and rods.
• Eliminates Contamination - VN9400 Wear Rings readily ingest harmful metal flakes, burrs, and small chips.
• They will not generate contamination as is common with metallic wear rings.
• Fluid Compatibility - VN9400 compounds are compatible with all common hydraulic oils, water emulsions, water glycol, and phosphate ester fluids, as well as many others.
• They will operate at tempertures to 350ºF.
• Port-Passing Capability - The high strength and stiffness of VN9400 Wear Rings provides special advantages in port-passing applications.
• Available up to 12” in diameter and up to 1” width. Common cross sections are: .062”, .080”, .125” and .187” as well as 1,5mm, 2,0mm, 2,5mm, 3,0mm and 4,0mm.
• Available widths are 1/4”, 3/8”, 1/2”, 5/8”, 3/4”, 1”. Many other sizes, including metrics, are also in stock.
