• VN9800 WEAR RINGS are precisely processed from a specially formulated reinforced nylon. It’s
• high compressive strength and load bearing capabilities meet or exceed that of most metals used for
• this purpose.
• The tough properties inherent in the exclusive VN9800 formulation allow for extremely low wear.
• Because VN9800 Wear Rings are non-metallic, they totally eliminate metal-to-metal contact and
• the consequent galling and scoring of cylinder bores and rods.
• VN9800 Wear Rings readily ingest harmful metal flakes, burs, and small chips. They will not
• generate contamination as is common with metallic rings.
• VN9800 is compatible with all common hydraulic oils, water emulsions, water glycol, and
• phosphate ester fluids.
• The high strength and stiffness of VN9800 Wear Rings provides special advantages in portpassing
• applications.
• Because of our special processing, our wear ring cross section tolerance is .124 + .001 (1/8”).
• Thus you have 30% or more, bearing contact area than conventionally manufactured rings. This
• process makes Verco Wear Rings ‘FLAT’.
