- Low VOC (7% content), slow evaporation rate, and minimal odor; High flash point; Residue-free after wiping; Phosphate free and biodegradable; ; FT 200™ prepares metallic surfaces for painting, priming, coating, bonding, corrosion protection, metalizing, welding, and a variety of other processes. Evaporates after it’s wiped off surfaces. Lasts 7x longer than traditional fast-evaporating surface preparation solvents such as acetone. NSF category A1, registration #142612.
