• Bridge reamers are heavy-duty tools designed for enlarging and aligning holes for rivets. Ideal for use in the construction of structural steel assemblies, bridge and ship construction.; High speed steel (HSS) provides good wear resistance and can be used in general purpose applications for both ferrous and nonferrous materials.; Spiral flute reamers are used in blind and through-hole operations. They are used to bridge interrupted cuts.; Straight shanks are used for general purpose applications. The shank is smaller than the drill bit diameter. They are used with portable drills and drill presses on ferrous and non-ferrous materials.
