• Hex drive types have six uniform sides that allow fast rotation & easy adjustment. They are driven by wrenches or sockets & are ideal for limited-clearance applications.
• Hex head types have flat bearing surfaces, sharp corners & six uniform sides. They are used with flat washers & are tightened with wrenches in limited-clearance applications.
• Steel is strong & durable but less corrosion resistant than stainless steel. To improve its resistance to corrosion, it may receive additional finishes & coatings.
• Type F thread cutting screws have a tapered point & are ideal for steel, plastic & brass.
