• Round head types are dome shaped with flat bearing surfaces
• They have a higher head height than pan head fasteners

• To improve its resistance to corrosion, it may receive additional finishes and coatings
• Type U screws have large, flat points, multiple start threads and high helix body threads that quickly drive screws into sheet metal
