- Digital tone generator traces and locates cables on an active network when used with Digital Tracing Probe (Cat. No. VDV500-223; sold separately)
- Wire mapping capabilities to check Pin-to-Pin connections with shield detection (requires Digital Tracing Probe, (Cat. No. VDV500-223; sold separately)
- Rugged Angled Bed of Nails (ABN) clips securely attach to wires
- RJ45 port to test RJ45, RJ11 and RJ12 data cables
- Tests for continuity and polarity with response displayed on clearly labeled, easy-to-read LEDs
- Three distinct tone cadences
- Auto Power-Off and Low Battery Indicator
