- External Star Geometry – External star (E-Star) sockets have an internal 6-lobe geometry designed for a high-torque fit that resists slipping
- Materials – The sockets are made from 50BV30 steel and hardened to 40–47 HRC for strength and durability
- Exterior and Interior Finishes – The sockets are protected against corrosion with chrome plating on the outside and clear coat on the inside
- Large, Stamped Markings – Permanently impressed into the material by a roll-stamp die and as large as possible while still being readable along the socket's curved surface
- Socket Rail Organization – The twist-to-lock clips on the rail holds sockets securely and can be repositioned anywhere along the rail
