AC Gear Motors
Motion has a robust inventory of AC gear motors for electrical needs. AC gear motors are electric motors that drive machinery at a fixed speed. They consist of a stator, rotor, and a reduction gear train, also called a reducer. The stators coils receive an alternating current and produce a rotating magnetic field or torque. The torque is then used by the motors output shaft to drive applications.
Shaft types include parallel and right angle. Enclosure types include ODP (Open Drip-Proof), TEFC (Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled), and TENV (Totally Enclosed Non-Ventilated). Mounting type options include base/face, face, footed/face, and special. Variety of motor phases, input horsepowers, gear ratios, and output RPM options to choose from.
