Motion and our partner, Martin, identified the issue and provided a two-part solution eliminating the belt damage and protecting a critical and expensive asset.

A quarry was experiencing belt tracking issues and unsafe material buildup on their main incline conveyor caused by debris on the drum pulleys. Motion recommended and supplied Martin Sprocket Clean Flight wing pulleys and Dodge Type E Defender series bearings. This solution has improved belt tracking, reduced the need for cleanup, and created a safer work environment.

Motion partnered with Martin Sprocket & Gear to design, build and install a screw conveyor system tailored to handle the abrasive lime kiln dust.

The screw required replacement several times annually, leading to significant repair costs and downtime.
