O-Rings

O-rings tightly seal machinery connections and protect machinery from corrosive chemicals and fluids. An O-ring is a round, tubelike gasket compressed between machine parts to form a seal. It expands and contracts to fill any open spaces. O-rings are typically made of rubber or a thermoplastic material that is flexible and resistant to corrosion. They are used in both static and moving applications and are common in rotating pump shafts and hydraulic cylinder pistons.
