  • STANDARD LSU - The Standard LSU (loaded symmetrical u-cup) is the most widely used design of the LSU family.
  • By energizing the sealing lips with an endless 0-ring, you are assured of uniform, positive lip contact and excellent low pressure sealing.
  • The seal depth is equal to the radial width which results in the square design.
  • Standard LSU seals can be widely used to interchange in existing hydraulic packings and/or O-rings without changing groove dimensions.
  • TYPE SQB LSU - The square version of the Type B LSU or SQB LSU has the same overall dimensions of the Standard LSU.
  • This seal features a back-beveled lip design that has greater film breaking ability and increased unit load at the sealing surface.
  • This results in a better wiping effect.
  • DEEP LSU - The Deep LSU Seal incorporates the same unique design as the Standard LSU Seal, plus, it’s depth is 1-1/2 times greater than the radial width.
  • This design increases seal stability to withstand rugged, high shock, heavy duty applications.
  • This seal will also replace many kinds of vee packing or other old fashioned seals.
  • When minimum drag is needed, use Standard LSU or Deep LSU seals.
  • TYPE B LSU - The Type B LSU Seal features a back-beveled sealing lip.
  • This provides greater film breaking and increased unit loading at the sealing surface.
  • The seal depth is generally 1-1/2 times the radial width to insure seal stability in the most rugged applications.
  • The Type B LSU is most commonly used as a rod seal.
