Electrical Insulation

Electrical insulation products are used during installation and repair to protect cable conductors from leakage and to reduce current flow. Shielding products are used to reduce electromagnetic interference (EMI), which can disrupt machinery operation. Cold shrink electrical insulation is prestretched onto a removable core that forms a seal around the wire to protect against moisture. Heat shrink tubing acts similarly, but uses heat to form the seal. Electrical insulation tape is used for a cable identification, insulation, protection, and organization.
