Material Transport

Material transport or material handling refers to the process of moving materials along a production line, through a factory, or through some other sort of facility, like a processing plant or warehouse. Different pieces of material handling equipment can be used for material transport. Examples include trucks and vehicles that carry the materials from facility to facility, conveyor systems that take the materials along a set route, as well as hoists and cranes to lift materials higher.
